Dr. Daniel Garibaldi is a board-certified ophthalmologist who joined Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island after serving as the Assistant Chief of Service and Clinical Instructor at the Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Garibaldi graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Duke University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and neuroscience. He then received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University, and completed a general medical internship at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park and then an ophthalmology residency at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Garibaldi remained at Wilmer Eye Institute for a two-year fellowship in oculoplastic, orbital and reconstructive surgery and served as the Assistant Chief of Service. Dr. Garibaldi works at multiple locations across Long Island with Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island.
